MECHANICAL SELF-CLEANING SCREENS
The automatic self-cleaning screens, produced by Azienda Italiana Depuratori, have the maximum of separation surface for the allowed flow.
The grates are easy to maintain, as they have no mechanical parts in movement in the water, so they are suitable both for primary waters and for civil and industrial sewage.
In addition to standard series, a specific design is foreseen for special grating, such as for industrial laundries, dairies, power plants, small communities, waters from cattle breeding, slaughter-houses, cannery industries and productive sewages in general.
The following grates are available, all of them for every capacity required:
- rotating grates with brushes
- vertical grates with bars
- inclined grates with bars
- grating rotating cylinder
The open channel brushes rotating grate is equipped with a stainless steel screen with alternated oblong holes 1 to 10 mm width, 2 or 4 rotating arms, cleaning brushes, motor, gear reduction unit, micro switch to stop the arms over the liquid flow, safety emergency switch.
The screens are entirely stainless steel made.
