FILTRATION
Depending on the plant and the treatment requested, Azienda Italiana Depuratori plans and produces filters for clarification, iron removal, chlorine removal, adsorption, ionic exchange, neutralisation, and for any other requirements.
The filters can be produced as the following types:
- gravity
- dynamics with continuous washing by air and water
- self washing by the choke of the filtering bed
- under pressure

The beds material can be, among others, quartz sand, active carbon, zeolites, resins, pyrolusite, dolomite.
Under request, the beds regeneration can be made as following:
- manual;
- automatic to time programmable;
- automatically piloted by measurements and control instruments.
